Scotland pilots development of creative film

Creative Scotland has joined forces with the Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC) to pilot a series of film education projects in libraries aimed at offering communities access to information, activities and resources on film creativity and culture. As part of the pilot, Creative Scotland is funding seven projects which will include training for staff in public libraries to create ‘film teams’, various community engagement activities, extending DVD collections, film screenings, and film clubs for different age groups. The projects will take place over 18 months from April 2016. To read more, click here.
