Northern Ireland’s digital filmmaking qualification hailed


Northern Ireland’s Moving Image Arts qualification was recognsied as an exemplary project at the launch of A Framework for Film Education in Europe in Paris last week. The only qualification of its kind in the UK, Moving Image Arts was introduced in 2004 and gives students (14 to 19 year-olds) the opportunity to produce their own creative film portfolios, and to develop creativity, digital literacy and enterprise skills. The newly published framework, which was funded by Creative Europe, aims to support the design, management and evaluation of film education programmes. To read more, click here.
