Channel 4 unveils latest diversity goals

Channel 4 will provide work opportunities to 40 TV programme directors from minority groups, as part of a new round of initiatives to improve diversity. The plan was unveiled at an event in parliament earlier this month, which coincided with Channel 4’s annual diversity lecture delivered this year by Riz Ahmed. Also announced were plans to improve BAME representation at more senior levels within the Channel, improve diversity in the advertising industry; and pioneer a new social mobility strategy.
