BFI unveils Diversity Fund and introduces

The BFI has launched its £1 million Diversity Fund and announced that its Three Ticks diversity quota for production – now renamed the BFI Diversity Standards – will be rolled out to all film projects in receipt of BFI Lottery funding, including development, production, distribution and audience development. The fund is aimed at creating positive changes across UK film by providing professional development for individuals working across the industry, and supporting companies and organisations to show leadership in diversity. UK funders including Creative Skillset, Creative England, Creative Scotland, Ffilm Cymru Wales, Film London, Into Film and Northern Ireland Screen will be adopting the Standards over the next 12 months.
